Until July 28th, discover the monographic exhibition Jakob + MacFarlane “Augmenting the Invisible” at the AIT Arkitektur Salon in Cologne, Germany.

The exhibition, which was inaugurated at the Aedes Berlin in the spring, presents 8 models in augmented reality designed by the studio to share the conceptual process behind the design of their projects.

Founded by Dominique Jakob and Brendan MacFarlane in 1997, this studio of multidisciplinary architecture that bases its practice on digital technologies, is one of the most experimental offices established in Paris. Among their most emblematic accomplishments are the “Turbulences – Frac Center” in Orleans, the “Georges” restaurant in the Pompidou center, the “Cube Orange” headquarters of Euronews in Lyon, the Cité de la mode et du design docks, and the “Conservatory of Music and Dance” in Noisy-le-Sec.

An application for smartphones (jacob mafarlane app) is also available on the app store and provides access to a 40-page catalog “Augmenting the invisible”, edited to integrate markers allowing the application to work.
