Fantoni worked on Prysmian Group headquarters

Completed in 2017, the headquarters of the Prysmian Group, specialised in producing energy and telecommunications cables, is part of an operation for the rehabilitation of an industrial area to the north-east of Milan into a business district. The site designed by Maurizio Varratta Architetto is made up of four volumes each connected by two bioclimatic greenhouses enjoying triple height space. These two central areas, dedicated to meeting rooms, regulate the temperature, lighting and solar energy of the headquarters. In three of the four volumes, open-plan workspaces and meeting rooms are equipped with I-Wallspace partitions by Fantoni, ensuring sound insulation. Fantoni has paid specific attention to details such as the metal finishes connecting the glazed screens and the flooring, optimising their dimensions in line with the alignment of ceiling tiles or the selection of perforated partitions.

The Fantoni Group (founded by Achille Fantoni in 1882) is a leader firm in the production of office furniture, partition and storage walls, MDF and chipboard panels, melamine flooring and sound-absorbent panels.
