Wondering what to do in Berlin this summer ? L’Architecture d’Aujourd’hui has selected this week a trio of events for Berliners and travelers who are visiting the city. A presentation of the works of German sculptor Rudolf Belling will be exhibited at the Museum für Gegenwart. The perfect time to get to know his pluridisciplinary career, and particularly his work in architecture.

The Museum für Gegenwart, a contemporary art museum located in the former Hamburger railway station in Berlin, will host works by Rudolf Belling in the exhibition “Rudolf Belling. Sculptures and Architectures”, from August 4th to September 17th.

The exhibition will present scultpures, drawings, models, films, and photographs, showing the full range of artistic endeavors that the German artist was pursuing from the beginning of the 20th century up to the 1970s. Beyond his sculptural works, Rudolf Belling was also a stage designer and collaborated with architects on interiors, sculptures, fountains, and monuments.

A 336 pages catalog presenting Belling’s complete work from 1906 to 1972 will be published for this occasion.
