In collaboration with the European Union’s “Creative Europe” program and AESOP (Association of European Schools of Planning), the platform for research and development of sustainable urban lifestyles Human Cities launches the event PUBLIC SPACES FOR LOCAL LIFE.

The event will take place in Ljubjana, Slovenia, from May 23^rd to 27^th and will bring together artists, designers, architects, sociologists, writers, philosophers, urban planners and landscapers to reflect on the use of public space in diverse communities.

Their approach will aim to establish the different ways of engaging inhabitants in participative creation by joining forces around common values ​​and ultimately provide the basis for a global vision on the use of local environments.

Colloquia, seminars, workshops and excursions will turn to the question: how to improve the urban landscape through self-management?
