Alleluia. At a time when many modern churches are falling prey to great architectural vandalism – magnificent salmon-pink rough concrete buildings are not uncommon – Italian office PBEB Architetti-Paolo Belloni has opted to perpetuate this expressive and sculptural concrete architecture for a parish centre in Bergamo.

“A place of worship should not fear time. Work focuses on materials, frame and solidity, contrary to the context which pushes us towards fleeting moments”, says Paolo Belloni.
