Could you present us your activity?
The architecture studio Christine Gerondeau was founded 20 years ago; we are specialized in interior and renovation projects of hotels and restaurants. We mainly design thematic projects, representing a theme in different spaces. Elegance and timelessness are the core values of our style; our projects are characterized by simple lines, noble materials and harmony in colors.

You have been collaborating with Neodko, which is participating to this year’s Maison & Objets Projets edition. Could you tell us about your relationship and the beginning of your cooperation?
We met Neodko at the fair trade Maison & Objets event. At that time, we were working on one of the Mercure hotels in Paris, a project around the theme of trains. Thanks to Neodko, we could print a large format wallpaper to cover the whole surface of a wall, a possibility that helped us a lot. Furthermore, Neodko helped us find the right image to use, the team refined its research according to our requests.

Why have you chosen Neodko among all the other brands with which you could have worked?
Our cooperation with Neodko evolved with time and experience, our relationship was based on responsiveness and professionalism. We have, for instance, been working together on the project of the Mercure Grenelle Hotel in Paris, in which we’ve developed the theme of the East India Company. Here, we asked Neodko to design some aged map prints. A number of tests were needed, as we were working with old documents, and the brand faced these difficulties while also helping us obtain the image copyrights. For another hotel project in the Paris region, decorated with a gardens theme, Neodko created custom-made nuances to obtain different garden ambiance effects in every room. The attentive listening and responsiveness Neodko demonstrated for the design of our projects convinced us that they were the perfect partner to work with.
